Insurance & Fees

No. Casden Integrative Women's Health is a self-pay practice. We do not bill insurance directly. This allows us to spend the time your care actually requires — without the constraints of what insurance will or won't reimburse.

About the Practice

OB/GYNs are trained in obstetrics and gynecological surgery, with a focus on reproductive care. My background is in Family Medicine and Integrative Medicine, with a clinical focus on women's hormonal health across the lifespan — from early reproductive years through perimenopause, menopause, and beyond. What I offer is time, depth, and an integrative lens: looking at hormones, lifestyle, nutrition, stress, and the whole person.

My practice is focused specifically on integrative women's health and hormonal care, so I'm not the right fit for general primary care needs like sick visits or annual physicals.

Yes. Hormone therapy is one of the tools I use when appropriate — tailored to your specific hormonal picture, symptoms, and goals.

Both. I use whatever is most appropriate for your clinical picture — whether that's a prescription medication, targeted supplementation, lifestyle changes, or a combination of all three.

Yes. Lab work is ordered based on what your clinical picture calls for. I'll always explain what I'm ordering and why.

Acupuncture

I use acupuncture as a complement to your care plan, primarily for hormone support and stress reduction. It's available as an add-on to your visit with Dr. Casden.

Most patients are surprised by how comfortable acupuncture is. The needles used are extremely fine — much thinner than a standard blood draw needle. You may feel a mild sensation of pressure, warmth, or tingling at the insertion site, but significant pain is not typical. Most patients find it relaxing. If at any point you are uncomfortable, we stop.
