About Dr. Casden
The care you deserve
starts with a doctor
who listens.
I started this practice because I kept seeing the same thing: women with real, complex symptoms leaving appointments without real answers. I wanted to build something different — where the goal isn't just to manage what's wrong, but to help you feel genuinely well.
My story
A different kind of
medicine.
I completed my undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania and earned my medical degree at George Washington University School of Medicine. I then completed my Family Medicine residency at Kaiser Permanente in San Diego, where I served as Chief Resident.
Through my training in conventional medicine, I kept coming back to the same question: why are we so quick to prescribe a fix without ever asking what's actually driving the problem? Women were coming in with real, layered symptoms — and leaving with something that masked them. That gap became the foundation of this practice.
I pursued additional training in Integrative Medicine at the University of Michigan to deepen my ability to care for the whole person — not just isolated symptoms. I'm also formally trained in medical acupuncture through the Helms Medical Institute, which I use as a complement to care for hormone support and stress.
My approach is grounded in the belief that women deserve both scientific rigor and individualized attention. Hormone therapy, lifestyle optimization, targeted supplementation, and acupuncture aren't separate silos — they're tools I combine thoughtfully, guided by evidence and your unique picture.
Outside of medicine, I grew up right here on Long Island and I'm happy to be back home. I love being outdoors — surfing, hiking with my dogs, and spending time with family and friends.
